How do you think the fanbase will react if we lose more than we win at home - (say P23 W10 D2 L 11 = 32pts) - but win more than we lose away (say P23 W14 D5 L4 = 47 pts)? 79pts would have made the play-offs in all but 1 of the last 8 full seasons.
I beg to differ. Turned the BBS off on Saturday and didn't look again until today in the hope of escaping posts exactly like this (not yours, yours made me laugh and made opening the thread worthwhile) but looks like I failed. On the plus side, your post was only about 5 in and now I don't need to read any more of it because I reckon I've taken the best out of it.
If lopata is going to be out a while i should play shepherd with the French lad. Mcart has been terrible
If we can't get Val , i would take warnock he is supposedly looking for a club. He has got to be better than Collins. The so called board are supposed to want to play the high press well i have news for them, Collins isn't playing that, i would say his game is quite the opposite. Plus we have a team of strong shot takers but we have started to try and walk the ball into the net again, just like season before last and look where that got us. Admitted it's a long time since i was a lad but we were always taught the best form of defence was attack
That's the spirit. Burn him. You're an idiot. What have we learnt about our footballers recently? Mads, Kitching, Cole - Give them time and they wiill come good. Maybe we should give you a bit of time too eh.
We've scored 23 goals, but if you discount the 7 against Port Vale, clearly an outlier, and tonight's 3, then we've only got 13 in 11 games. Not good enough, Collins out.
I think we've got to discount the goals we scored at Wigan and Cheltenham too, because, you know, reasons.
