Recently, the Stockholm club announced that Mikael Hjelmberg will get the sports director job permanently, and on Monday the club announced that Adrian von Heijne is the new technical director. Late on Monday evening, Expressen reports that Hammarby is working on recruiting a person for a position as " Head of Football", and according to the newspaper, Barnsley's CEO Khaled El-Ahmad, 42, is one of the final candidates to get the job. Bajen and El-Ahmad are said to have held talks for several weeks, while the club is also said to be looking at other names. At present, nothing is reported to be ready. "

Did Dane get another job yet? I believe the Crynes and Neerav held him in high regard and tried to block his removal.
Several weeks? Blinking heck. I don't know much about conduct at CEO level but if he doesn't get it, surely his position is untenable when he's been courting a route out for an extended period?
Same as any job. People approach you and it's always worth listening, keeping an open mind, and understanding your market value. That doesn't mean you are going to move, though and it shouldn't mean your position is untenable either if that's all that's happened.
