Charles Breakspear, the referee from Saturday, slots into 12th place, with Portsmouth ref Lewis Smith still setting the standard below him.

I've decided to keep the poll as is. The votes even themselves out, and revealing names only causes grief. It doesn't bother me how people vote, it's only a bit of fun.

As for Mr Parsons, arguably we got the rub of the green with some of his decisions last night, particularly the potential penalty just before our 3rd goal. At the time I didn't think it was a penalty. It's a tough one to judge as Styles certainly flicks a leg out, then acts quite sheepish between then and play restarting.

Definitely one of the better ones. And not just because we seemed to get the rub this time. I would like to see their penalty claim again but am sure he took a tumble after clipping his own heels.

On Saturday I thought a lot of decisions went against (not the penalty, that was nailed on), last night I thought a lot of decisions went for us, and I thought we gave another penalty away, but it wasn't given. My take from that is that I really wish we'd stop bringing down opposition players in our own area! Although I still don't agree the one against Portsmouth should have been given.

In real time I thought a penalty was warranted, but having watched it back I could see why it wasn’t given. The Cambridge man involved wouldn’t have had much room for complaint if the ref had booked him
Overall I thought the ref did okay but my view is probably influenced by the result. I guess the Cambridge fans will take an harsher view of him

We were on the right side of a contentious decision but that was the only one.

Competent and I wouldn’t say he was wrong to not award a penalty but it certainly goes in the ‘seen them given’ and ‘we never get given those but the oppo does’ categories.

    Better than Saturdays ref. 6/10

Credit where it's due, I don't recall a single incident in the game where I questioned the referee. The best ones are those you don't notice. He let the game flow and got the big call right in my opinion, I said " dive" out loud the moment the Cambridge player went down. I might well be wrong, but my live viewing was the same as the refs, I though their player was looking for it.

    9/10.

I’ve given an 8 my highest mark so far this season. Not because he didn’t give them a penalty ( not seen that incident since the game, but at the time it looked like one of those that can go either way without being contentious)
so could be forgiven, nice we got the decision this time. As has already been said, he was barely noticeable, not fussy spotted 1 or 2 off-the-ball small incidents from both sides. Good all- round performance.

8 from me as well as he was just there to do his job. Nothing more. No “look at me” rubbish. If only that were the case every week

Given that we were the ‘opposition’ and we never get penalties I don’t see how your argument applies :)

I thought he was fairly solid. I probably go a bit overboard with low ratings when they’re awful so have gone for 8 to try and even it out.

Watching the game, their penalty claim seemed soft but I’ve not seen it back yet.

CBA posting the full table after every game, it's just filling up my phones memory with all the screenshots, but he's 3rd bottom, marginally above the Blackpool ref, and about half a point ahead of the Pompey ref.

Did OK didnt notice him much which is always a plus. Had one big decision to make when their forward fell over Styles in the area
It was a marginal one - seen them given against us but we never get them, personally I think their player was looking for it and made sure he tripped over Styles. I would have given him the same mark if he had given the pen as it was a 50:50 for me, nice to have one go our way for a change
I thought he gave them a few soft fouls and ignored similar ones on us but I guess Cambridge fans will say the same. If they all performed like Mr Parsons I would be a lot happier - Given him a solid 7/10

Only watched the first half. Didn't have a lot to do but what he did do he got right. Have rewatched the penalty incident several times, but the camera angles available mean I'm genuinely none the wiser as the whether it should have been given.
