    Yes, a real sickener was that - good player as well. Awful for him, and I agree, at his age especially I think it's career ending

    I thought he’d been involved in a coming together with another player but apparently not he was just crossing the ball which if true is bizarre and horrific in equal measure.

    His foot looked like it was hanging by a thread. Like when you snap a branch but there's a bit of it clinging on. Horrendous.

    Real shame for him, can remember him scoring against us when we had Johnson in charge (Hourihane 95th minute leveller) and he's been with them since then all the way up, back down and then up again.

    I did the same at 21 with a 20 foot fall, one side of the bone that holds the ankle ball in snapped off and the foot just pointed downwards, broke my femur at the same time. Week in hospital, screw through my ankle and a plate in my leg.

    Like what happened to David Buust. Can't see him playing again. Learning to walk again properly is likely going to take a number of operations.

    A few years ago we were in the Pizza Hut at Corton Wood and he walked in with his wife and young family. Really feel for them today.

    I'd like to thing surgery has come a long way since then but it sounds horrendous. Hope he recovers.
