Doing exceptionally well on his loan at Worksop Town.

    Another solid display!

Great news mate - always brilliant to see loan players performing well.

Would love to see a couple of our youth go out properly and get game time. Even perhaps Jalo. Flavell, Winfield, James etc

I'd give Flavell a game against Bradford City in Cup game. We need him to make the next step now in his progression. Great keeper in the making.

Kilip being no 2 keeper, does need game time.
Therefore he would start before the no 3 keeper.

Odd how he can't get a game in that league.

When he does ,he doesn't see anything of the ball, it's as though he is wearing a different shirt.

    No
The manager saw the system wasn't working, so took him off on 37 minutes.
    Not great for confidence.

End of last season I thought we would have released him. But when given his chance this season he always looked lively and scored a few and with watters been so disappointing I was shocked we loaned him out and thought he would have done well at that level.

He as , in both micky mouse cup , and EfL when he cam e on and grabbed the equaliser against Tranmere.
And scored the second goal in the other cup against Grimsby.
Was surprised he went out on loan having scored 9 in 8 games ,under 23 s and first team. But sitting on the bench is not good for playing time.

I honestly don't know what we're playing at with our loans. What use is sitting on York's bench? It happens time and again. Alternatively we loan them out to clubs so low down the pyramid that the experience is next to worthless.
I keep saying it but the old reserve leagues would give these lads exactly the game time they need against some seasoned pros and they'd still be under the care and structure of their own club.
Jalo absolutely needs games at a decent level this season or we're going to end up selling him for a million or so as a good prospect rather than 5 or 6 as someone who has developed and then proved himself at our level.
The very least we should be doing is loaning him out to level five as a minimum and do the same as other clubs have done to us and require guaranteed game time for him.
