Dire Football that lacks entertainment. We saw that last season when they parked the bus against us when they were not going up or down.
They should have gone for it and tried to beat us knowing they would be playing in the same league this season anyway. It's the entertainment business. It's OK being boring if you're getting the results to some extent. But if you're dull and negative to watch and stuck in mid table you're in danger of being fired.
Whether they were paying us a compliment, and thought we were a dangerous visiting team etc, that's one thing. But apparently he had them playing like that all season at home, and just setting themselves up for draws. And that sort of thing eventually goes against you.
Brings back memories of Paul Headinbottom and his it doesn't matter where the points come from mantra. I'm sorry it does if if I've parted with best part of £400 for a season ticket pal.
Lincoln won at ours twice didn't they, and a bit like Exeter as well, maybe they should have done better and got nearer to the top 6. But when Kennedy then sets them up at home to not lose, and there's too many draws, that must be annoying for the fans.
