So we pack out the ESL and then open another area and then those who bought for ESL add to box office staff work by wanting to move seats. Great planning....
When we played crewe last season the attendance was just short of 4000 , you could argue this game is less appealing than the crewe game , particularly with it been on a Friday night, I don't actually know what the capacity of the esl is but I'm sure somebody will
I'd argue that it was more appealing, due to the novelty factor of it being a non-league team. Personally, I'd have gone to it on a weekend date, but am unlikely to bother on the Friday, given that the away support will be so depleted. I've seen us play Crewe enough times previously for that game to have much less appeal. Certainly not fussed now that it's lower tier only, although if I'm honest it's more of a principled refusal, given how much the Horsham fans have been shafted by the FA and SYP on this.
Beginning November weather could be baltic pissing it down yet come up with idea esst stand lower it shows lack thought for fans yet again.
I’ve totally lost my enthusiasm for this game and feel like telling them to stick their tickets where the sun don’t shine. No consideration at all for the fans, especially the Horsham fans. If SYP can’t cope with a Saturday 3pm kick off, and the club are too spineless to get it switched to Sunday, turn it around completely and play it at Horsham. I’m sure they’d be happy to host it and won’t be ****** about by the local constabulary.
About the only thing worse they could have done is start with the West Lower. It does seem there is an agenda to keep the gate as low as possible. I’m surprised they didn’t go for £30 per ticket as well
Don’t want to knock the club but it almost suggests that they won’t open the Upper unless they sell out the Lower.
