I can think of no other reason for his complete disappearing act.

Anyone seen or heard owt from him since the fans meeting a few months back?

I genuinely think he may not longer be actively working for bfc but the question is if he isnt who is?

I wouldn't exactly argue with you but his absolute silence on literally everything is very unusual and coupled with the rumours of him leaving it looks possible

Total Silence - you would have thought he would have fronted the Media after the coach fire! Gone!

I’m just going by the lack of everything since he came in. Steve Wonder could see it.

i’d put money on at least 90% of a football club CEO’s job being stuff the fans will never see or know about.

Exactly the reason we need competent ceo moving forward. Too many simple things gone unaddressed.

He’s clearly still in post. The evidence is all around us.

As long as they provide some decent cutlery I'd be happy! Although if I'm paying £13 for something, I prefer to sit down and savour it with a top notch IPA than scoff it down at half time.

The whole food at football thing does confuse me a little. Can people really not manage a few hours without eating? Just have something at home before.

Yeah, that's it for me too. Without being able to sit at a table, with a knife and fork, I want finger food at the match, or at least something easy to navigate.

I used to get paranoid that a camera was on me, when I was trying to eat a pie at a match, worried that I’d be on the funny bit at the end.

“…and finally, take a look at this soft lad, who clearly didn’t have any dinner before the match. He managed to scrape up a bit of the filling with the lid of the pie, but seems to have burned his fingers and mouth with it, spilling most of it down his shirt, and now he’s reduced to scraping up bits of chicken balti with his increasingly reddening fingers and…oh dear, that scoop ended up running down his chin! Goodnight.”

Unless its an evening game or an away game then you might not have time
or possibly you don't live close to the ground?

I never buy food at Oakwell though I guess exceptionally I might if I got stuck in traffic coming up from Farnham and didnt have time to get food at my Dads before we setoff to the game. Never happened so far though. and Id be more likely to get it from the van at the bottom of the Ponty car park if I had to.
I sometimes get food in the ground at away games if either the pre match pub doesnt do food or I dont get chance to go to a pub beforehand.
Had a chilli hot dog at Orient for example as Gravity Well ( the pre match tap room), didnt do food. Real rip off mind £5.70 for a hot dog!

I'm always ravenous by the time I get to Oakwell and I live much closer than you. Never seem to be able to time it very well. Have breakfast around 9 or 10 on a Saturday. Usually aim to set off between 12 and half past, but usually don't get on the road until 1 so cutting it slightly fine, especially if the missus has decided she fancies Meadowhall rather than Oakwell. I'm almost always still full from breakfast before setting off, but that changes dramatically in the 80 or 90 minutes on the road! Also eat at the van at the bottom of the car park if I'm not running too late, but sometimes the stadium is my only choice. I must admit that the pizza rolls are very decent for footy ground food, but most of what's available in the Ponty looks pretty substandard.
