    Devante looks so sharp running at defenders this season. Definitely added that to his game.

    Another toughie tonight. Mael de Gevigney looked very assured, Kane had one of his best games for us doing a lot of defensive work as well as scoring the penalty. McAtee absolutely ran himself into the ground as well. But Cole shaded it for me. Superb running and unselfishness for the second goal, unlucky not to score with a brilliant individual effort before an excellent finish to make the game safe when Shrewsbury were starting to look like they could pull one back.

    It was nice to see Kane behaving more like a senior playing. Tracking back. Talking to the team. Really good performance from him.

    Shame for McAtee that he had to go off as he was excellent but Watters looked sharp when he came on and assisted well

    One assist for Callum Styles after a powerful run down the right and into the penalty box, one mazy run at speed past several defenders, narrowly missing the near post, and finally a well-taken goal, 10th of the season.

    That’s a good point about Watters. His confidence must be in pieces, particularly after being booed off at the weekend. Thought he was excellent for Cole’s goal.

    Devante for me, pace and determination to set up Styles, nearly scored a worldy of a solo and linked up brilliantly with Watters when he bagged the third.

    Was involved in almost all of the major positive actions in the final third on the night.
