Gareth Ainsworth to hit the sack lol, as it's yet another loss for Q.P.Rangers. And Val gets revenge on Swanny tonight, but you never know what Watford are going to do next!!.
He said the other week that is how Cole says it's pronounced . A bit like Hourihane who we pronounced Hoo-ri-hane... and it was actually How-ri-hane.
Only a small percentage of players get a song. There are almost no supporters who get one. But I got a song sang to me every week, without fail, for years, by The Baker Fan Club. I hope they're all OK.
Well done you reds, a very competent display tonight. Even though I was biting my nails at 2-0 when they were having the lion’s share of play. But up pops DC with an accomplished finish and as some non-descript scribe wrote a while ago, all’s well that ends well. Bring on Saturday
Another really good competent performance against opposition that were woeful off the ball and presented a challenge from set pieces. The old adage you can only beat what’s in front of you was spot on tonight. We easily navigated a mediocre team with some moments of quality. clean sheet. 3 goals. Can’t argue with that can you. Great contribution from Watters for the goal. slight negative from me on that Cotter struggled once again but in the bigger scheme of things a very minor quibble.
Well done reds. Shrewsbury came back a bit 2nd half but a deserved 3 points. I particularly liked our passing tonight, crip and bright mist of the game. Glad Coley got his goal too. Imho man of match possibly French lad again.
Don't agree with that. Thought they gave it a really good go second half and looked dangerous from set pieces. However, their shooting from outside the box was beyond woeful!
yeah they were very dangerous from corners and Killip flapped at a few but lacked any sort of quality in the final third otherwise.
At least Shrewsbury can't blame it all on that dinosaur Steve Cotterill anymore lol. Was it easter Monday when they came here last season (after the disappointing good Friday loss at Burton), and I thought they were one of the most talentless thuggish dirty teams I've ever seen!.
Every single one of their shots reminded me of Paul Futcher's occasional efforts (Everton match excepted!)
Posted this on another forum or summat, so now going to post it in the right place: Got a real look at what the manager is about tonight: We try to pass the opposition off the park. And hit them on the break when the opposition are in the ascendancy. The first part of that we saw in the first half, and we hit them on the break in the second. It's still not perfected yet, but I liked what I saw tonight.
