We could always reprise the " kick a ball into a shed" thing that was doing the rounds a few years ago....

I think the best I've seen was when they staged the finals of a local under 11s cup or such. It was genuinely worth watching. The kids must have really enjoyed playing in front of 10000 or so.

I wouldn’t mind but after first kids takes there go all balls are all over place for remaining kids haha

And they wait half of the time for the balls to be returned haha

Smacks of "let's do it on the cheap" mentality, personally it doesn't bother me as I pay little attention but agree with your post, thing is creativity costs nothing but it's very clearly an after thought cobbled together.

Keep it simple….get 10 participants in 18 yard box, they all compete to get ball closest to centre spot…closest wins the £20 quid in club shop and a signed match ball….ball lands exactly on centre spot and a mega prize …maybe a pair of season tickets for following season

Why don't they invite junior schools every week to play a game on Oakwell, much better than all the rest of the stuff and leaves a lasting impression on them

    Sounds like a plan...

Great way of generating the fan base of the future.

This is the best idea. They're probably too precious about the pitch though.

From the club's point of view, they've vastly improved the supply of food and drink at half time.

It therefore is not in their financial interests to put a display on the pitch that would dissuade fans from exiting their seats at the break.

Of course if football fans could be trusted to behave in a civil manner, the pleasure of pitch "entertainment" and improved catering need not be mutually exclusive.

I don't recall it "winning" many penalties though.

Another suggestion, Wednesday's goal of the month reel on continuous loop?

I think the less activity on the pitch at half time the better. Why hold a mini-tournament that’s likely to take its toll on the pitch?

An improvement from when we had the Wakefield Wildcats cheerleaders for a while until we lost them because we were too tight to cover their travel costs.

It would be nice to have some wild tight cheerleaders from Wakefield.

I was just going to suggest a highlights package of the best goals scored against Wednesday and United as they continue to battle to break the lowest points records in their respective divisions... Interspaced with their best comedy defending
