I just hope our players don't treat it like the dead rubber it is becoming.

Once again Khaled's achilles heel I'm afraid. He's absolutely crap at communicating.

I think the announcement about the women's game on the Sunday is incredibly poorly timed too, and literally rubbing salt into the wounds for Horsham FC and their fans.

The problem is, the Horsham Manager doesn’t understand that as a club, we have issues all the time with SYP. Not much we can do with them usually.

Hence why BFC probably haven’t gone into too hard - saving any favours we could get for bigger games.

I do feel for the Horsham fans, but their gripes as well as BFC’s gripes with SYP are nothing new.

The Club will be reading this.
We won`t come out of this story with any credit unless we have made some effort to support Horsham.

The Horsham article suggests they've seen plenty of sympathy from our fanbase, and nothing from the club itself.

This is the disappointing part, If BFC have approached the Authorities and raised their concerns/disappointment about the change then why not just say so and make themselves immune to any criticisms etc. We’ve all come to expect SYP and the FA for that matter, to change and spoil things for fans with their half-cocked excuses, in this case not even replied to at least one of the clubs request for an explanation. It really is disrespectful to not respond to communication by SYP, they are a Public Service afterall. Come on BFC let us all know if or what representations you have made.
Feel really sorry for Horsham and their fans, but I’ll do my bit and attend the game, no point Reds fans moaning about loss of revenue then staying at home is it.

I'm boycotting the game as an act of solidarity with the Horsham supporters.

Exactly this. Time and again Khaled passes up the opportunity to defuse a situation.
There's only one route we should have taken on this matter and that's to do our best to get the game played at 3pm. If we did then just come out and say we did and avoid the recriminations.
If we didn't then we look very shabby. The silence makes it look like the latter.

Much as I know it`s not the fault of the Ladies` team as supporters I think boycotting Oakwell on the Sunday could send a message.

But they’ll be Horsham supporters there, not as many. I don’t think it’s a case of boycotting the game by them, it’s just how difficult, probably impossible for many of them to attend.

    No, that’s poor.

The ladies deserve the backing. Leave them out of it.

As a season ticket holder and as a usual supporter of our cup games I just feel we need to show support for Horsham in any way we can. I won`t be at the Friday night game.

That’s your prerogative of course, but you’re not supporting them ( or us) financially

My issue with attending the game on the Friday is more down to the ticketing arrangements than anything. If I could sit in the East Upper, where I usually attend games, I'd buy a ticket. The chances of them going on sale depends on us filling the lower tier first, so it's unlikely to happen.

This may sound silly but dose anyone think the club might be 'playing ball' with the EFL with our impending case to come ?

Yeah, just don’t know why they can’t open upper tier in the first instance
