    Not really sure what you mean by this pal? Hes already broken that record before tonight?
    It was always going to be Messi. I honestly don't know half the people hating on him winning it has seen him properly for a long time! Personally, id have voted Haaland but journalists love their access. But no real issues with him winning it tbf.

    Argentina won on penalties. Penalties, after one of the other world superstars scored a hat-trick. So Messi wins the trophy. Had a couple of his Argentina teammates bottled their penalties and France won, presumably Messi would be forgotten about and Mbappe would have won the trophy. So it all rested on which of their teammates bottled their penalties. Bit of a flimsy reason for awarding someone a trophy for being the bestest footballer in the whole wide world all year, don’t you think?

    There was another guy though, won the big 3 trophies with his club, scoring a zillion goals along the way…
