I thought The Omen re-make was ok, and very true to the original. And it was officially done of course, on June 6th, 2006 (6-6-6!).
But you could ask, what is the point in re-makes for a start, especially if they are just doing the same again.

Suspense frightens me more than Gore. Some of the old black and white movies scared the s41t out of me.
Ladies in a very old mansion. Walking upstairs to see where the knocking is coming from. With a candle for light. Are they fekkin well mad.:eek: I'd be out of there as quick as you could say boo to a ghost. :)

That's what kind of 'spoils' them for me too, like what kind of idiot walks towards stuff like that! Alright it would be a pretty short boring film if they didn't......but still! :D:D:D

The omen takes you from Childhood to Adulthood. And I thought the final conflict was a good ending. Enjoyed (if you can say that lol ) All 3.
    Omen IV was cack.

The opening from IT scares me when little Georgie gets killed. I'm thinking don't go near that grate you fool. The remake is more savage than the original.
