I wouldn't rip up the transfer policy But I would immediately enforce this age quota: One keeper over 30 One defender over 30 One midfielder over 30 One striker over 30 Very reasonable and sensible- if you ask me
Older doesn’t mean more experienced if that’s what you’re getting at. It’s quite feasible for a player a few years younger than another to be more experienced
Build a footbridge from Pontefract Road through the woods to the top end of Beevor Court. Turn down the thermostat that boils the water for the coffee. Get the north end of the old stand fixed asap. Apply some common sense to normal events so as to make customers into fans again.
Put some safe standing in Ponty end. Build a semi permanent fan zone. Bulldozer through lower tier of West Stand and make upper tier more in line with rest of ground.
Conor Hourihane was 23 and had 125 appearances in the football league by the time we signed him. Age doesn't necessarily equate to adequate experience. The age factor isn't the problem, it's the scatter gun approach we've taken recently in regards to none league signings that is the problem. There is quality out there but we look like we'd rather sign 4-5 maybes than 1 definitely.
Invest in a decent staff structure and have people looking after the matchday experience that have been in a forward facing role, by that I mean looking at the bigger picture yes it might cost xyz but the payback in time will be greater and put more bums on seats
Move the team to the NY stadium for next season, and then in May knock down Oakwell to build a new 30k stadium with expansion capabilities With in mind that if l took over I'd have more money than Jeff Bezos so we would soon become the region's best team and support would be drawn from all over Yorkshire.
This has to be one of the barmiest ideas ever. If your trying to say remove an age cap to ensure we get the best player/fit for the team at that time I’d agree but to enforce older people for the sake of it is just lunacy.
