I'd get a dodgy crypto company to sponsor us.

    • New season ticket pricing mechanism.
    • Kit release timing (Father days etc).

Safe standing would probably be ok if you’re a below league one club with regards to attendances and stadium size. It’ll never return because of what happened at Hillsboro.

It already has 7 premier league sides have gone that way with safe standing.

I would make it free to go to the match.

supporters would be invited to donate money to the club to contribute towards transfer etc but it would be free to attend matches.

I think the shortfall would be less than you might anticipate , but given that I was the owner and had the cash, I would foot the bill.

I think it would lead to long term growth of the club

If current payroll is about £10m, that’s about £435k per home game. So about £44 donation per person per game, based on 10k average home attendance. I imagine ‘pay what you think’ would be nowhere near that. I reckon a quarter. So as owner I think you’d be stumping up easily more than half. Very generous of you though :)

Good idea. However, I would put a premium on tickets for the “safe standing” zone to pay for the changes.

I'd listen to the whingers and make it compulsory for every supporter over the age of 17 to be allowed one alcoholic beverage to sup in their seat. I'd get Oakwell bouncing again.

I would have a 5 point plan and be as transparent as practically / legally possible in declaring how its executed. Thats the one thing i would bring in….. which consists of the backbone of a plan being ‘Fans First’ policy. Yeah yeah i know some other thing will need to be done also but i would want this as the spirit, culture and focus of my club.

    - Ensure game day experience is forefront of decision making
    - Build a competitive team and hire a director of football to lead here.
    - Appoint a head of infrastructure and operations. Declare a 5 year plan on how to develop the stadium and facilities and be transparent in what the milestones are, the vision and what triggers need to be met to achieve it ie finance, permissions etc
    - Build and promote the brand in the community locally and wider.
    - Write a letter (maybe two) to the supporters trust as payback every month. That will teach em a lesson ;-)

I'm sure I've read about a restaurant that did a similar thing. All the snap was free, and customers could pay what they thought it was worth.

A number of Park & Ride routes to the ground to make getting in and out on match days a better experience for fans.

After that I’d have a shirt manufacturer who actually shipped shirts, and a match day catering provider that produces something other than slow/depressing/burnt.

    (1) Only open areas of the ground exposed to the elements during forecasted bad weather.
    (2) Speak to SYP if they'd be happy if we played on Fridays subject to their rota allowing for holidays booked.
    (3) Ensure we rarely stocked replica shirts
    (4) under order hot food this way we'd sell out and have zero waste
    (5) Restore half a flag above West Stand
    (6) Sack anyone for cleaning up bird poo or removing weeds.
    (7) Lock up the stadium for a minimum of 1 to 5 hours after the final whistle, only when all away fans are home safe can we exit.
    (8) Close all access routes to stadium bar Grove street it's your problem so just walk around in a big loop, you need to get your steps in.
    (9) Put my feet up and go missing, it's none of your business
    (10) show interest at moving us to Wigan

That's my initial 100 day plan
