I think he probably did and you're probably right, but he doesn't admit to that. His claim is that he was waiting for money owed to him to be paid before he could transfer it to the club. It's not out of the realms of possibility to be fair, but I do think all things considered he was just trying to make a point with the fans that they need him.
No one who is being straight up claims they're not playing games. He did, a number of times. The only reason that 'playing games' comes into someone's head is if they're playing games and lying about it. Tell your wife you're nipping down the pub to meet a friend and you're definitely not meeting Janice from work and you're definitely not having an affair. See how that goes.
You would think that even if he had the money all along and was just bulls**ting that it got to the point where HMRC acted that they wouldn't be as lenient if it happens again but can't see them doing.
Maybe he forgot that he had left a spare two million quids in the taxi company/companies that he forgot he had...errr allegedly!!
Many years ago, when I was in-between wives, I saw an advert for a dinner club. It was intended for single people who enjoyed eating out, but had no-one to go with. I rang up to find out more. The guy explained that it isn't a dating agency, there's an annual fee, it isn't a dating agency, there's a further fee for each event, it isn't a dating agency, you also pay the restaurant bill, it isn't a dating agency, you submit brief personal details, age, sex, hobbies, interests etc, oh, and by the way, it isn't a dating agency. Intrigued, I paid up and booked an event. When I arrived it was clear that it was a dating agency. I had an enjoyable evening with Jenny from Cheadle who I went out with for 2 years.
I see it as clear attempt by Chansiri to keep the Wednesday fans in check. Basically, I will **** this club up if you don't back off.
