Ex tarn player now at Leyton Orient was the saviour according to their fans forum last season. Now they can't wait to get rid of the over paid ,over weight and even subbed the sub off last week.
I thought he was technically very capable when he was with us. His control and ability to manipulate the ball was excellent, he had a good touch, good vision and could pick a pass and possessed a good shot. But he very rarely produced, he just didn't seem to have any discipline and wasn't able to apply himself and work hard to make the most of his talent. Sometimes a player has a moment when things change for them and they deliver but it hasn't happened for him. A bit sad really.
Technically gifted but appears to have a shocking attitude - always struck me as a bit of a contradiction. Praising the Lord one minute, then acting like a knob the next.
I concur re Moncur. He seemed to do OK at Luton. I can't say I've missed him. I think it's probably hard being the son of a legend. Some do well, like Frank Lampard & Kasper Scmeichel. Devante has taken his time, but looks like he's found his way at L1 level, way behind Andy though. Will have made a decent living, none the less.
Two games sum Georgie boy up for me Sunderland away new years day 1 nil up come on with 10mins to go attack breaks down and he just stood on edge of the box with his hands on his hips. The second Peterborough' away he tore them a new one obviously thought he'd got a point to prove after his failed loan spell just proved what a fully motivated George could do. When he came on late for Orient first thing I thought was here we go then I thought god he's put some timber on what a shame because the lad clearly had talent.
