Despite our abysmal performance, officials were pathetic. Never a pen , took the ball cleanly and linesman 4 yards behind play allowing player 2 yards offside to go through . He was twitching the flag as he was trying in vain to catch up with play but decided not to flag . We’ve been so pedestrian in nearly every home game and the list of players out of form is unreal , for starters Williams , Cadden , Phillips, Cotter
Yep, usual poor fayre from the match officials. Thought at the time the penalty was an absolute joke not seen it back yet though. The 2 bad fouls on Jalo went unpunished.
They were shocking fouls on Jalo, one of them they dragged their studs down the back of his leg and the red looked at it and gave nothing
Phillips was banging them in from 20 yards every other week. Missed an absolute sitter from 6 yards tonight. What on earth has happened to him?
Debatable about the level of contact but it looks from this that it's the Horsham player who gets the ball not MDG but it wouldn't be the first time I've misjudged a video
Still not convinced there’s contact, and if there is it was after their player was already going to ground with the ball running away from him. At the match I felt he was nowhere near him
It was O’Keefe. Didn’t get ball, their player did, but striker made a meal of it. At full speed it was easy decision for ref
Biggest mistake for me was not sending off their no 4 - 2 yellow card tackles in 10 seconds. Rightly played advantage from first one but bottled showing him 2 yellows after a second bad tackle which he did blow for. Should have walked....
Is it 7 leagues below us? If we have to bellyache about dodgy ref decisions or their players having more nous then ours then we're on very shaky ground.
Who won the ball all day long?I‘M not debating who got the ball first, I simply don’t see any obvious contact that caused their player to fall over. If their was contact it was after he’d already gone down
Couldn’t disagree more. That interview really got under my skin, keeping the door open for a move higher, when he’s had what, one good season? The gall of acting like he’s above BFC or this current level really grated on me. He’s club captain and gave some non committal, film flam answer about his future here. The reason you are playing this level, Jordan, is that you make at least one mistake per game, concede soft crosses regularly, and despite being club captain aren’t very much of a leader. For me that just summed up modern football. A bang average player angling for a move higher. My advice would be to concentrate on his own game, because he’s got a lot of room for development (and I thought this when we’ve been winning).
Have you seen the highlights? Going to backtrack and admit you're talking utter tripe for the "offside" goal? Williams is playing their player miles on.
Not liking what he said in an interview is a separate matter. Playing he is playing out of position and you’d imagine the first name on the sheet alongside Cole. Probably why he’s captain Football fans have a weird view about loyalty. Does anyone stop normal people taking better jobs or showing ambition. “No Tracy you can stop working the tills at Asda forever cos of loyalty. if the boot was on the other foot and we wanted to dump him we would do it in a millisecond.
