    Can't beat 7th tier part timers, awful home record and only one striker we can rely on. I am glad Collins was playing down this week how we are 6 points better off than this time last season. To keep that going we at some point are going to have to go on a long winning run like MLH had us on.

    Kane plays far too deep and we have everybody in midfield too slow and with backs to goal. Too many last night couldn’t be arsed to make a move into space and give any option for a pass. We’re like a team of Ray Wilkins’s - sideways and backwards. De Givegney tries to push forward and he’s flummoxed all the time because there’s nobody to play a through ball to. Connell will change all that.

    The one ray of optimism from last night. A defensive midfielder who can break up opposition attacks and look to play the ball forward early. Made some wonderful passes after he came on yesterday.

    I find that interesting because I've heard more people negative about our style of play at matches than I have on here. I've heard people booing the sideways and backwards passes, shouts at players about the perceived negative passes, people saying they can't stand a season of this, that it's boring, dull, makes us look bad etc. Honestly far worse than on here and that's been in the seats, in the concourses and in the carpark exiting the stadium so isn't specific to where I sit at all.
