Given the journey, high demand, big travel and accommodation costs, and need to take days off work, finding out today how tickets will be sold would be nice. Any hear say? If no e-tickets could be interesting for postage. I don’t think a move to Wednesday for telly is dead in the water either? FA website still not showing TV selections.
Comes from Horsham doesn't it? They've just bought a shed from Wickes for the ticket office so I'm guessing we may find out soon.
Looking at the replays list ours and Charlton’s seem like the two most likely for tv. One on each channel. On the other hand…
Yeah that was two days ago. Should be something else out soon. If I can’t get a ticket I can reinstate meetings at work for example.
There are 9 replays. As of now, 5 have been confirmed as kicking-off on Tuesday 14th at 7.45pm and ticket details announced through the respective clubs, namely:- Accrington v Doncaster Burton v Port Vale Derby v Crewe Forest Green v Scarborough York v Chester That leaves four games for which the respective clubs have not been able to confirm details yet as they are probably being considered as candidates for the TV game(s) on Wednesday, namely:- Cray Valley v Charlton Horsham v Us Grimsby v Slough Salford v Peterborough
I didn't realize we had moved the Bradford game to accommodate this replay. Has it been officially announced by BFC? Have we rearranged the Bolton game yet, before our next postponement (probably) in the upcoming international window?
Bradford is now the 21st november. No re Bolton. If there is a postponement I reckon the application will come from us.
If Horsham don't get their finger out soon there won't be any postal tickets, which will rule a few of us out.
Horsham is an extraordinary situation because demand will outstrip demand significantly. What would have been nice is a one liner comms update from the club: we know fans want to decide if they can go to the game (points, travel etc) but we are awaiting x and y before hoping to confirm ticketing arrangements by z.
They have been on sale less than a day and only to our fans who are both a STH and have the most loyalty points. We should sell out once we work through the categories.
I thought they might have gone last night but definitely today was my second thought. Hope people who want to go can get one.
Usually, the first category is smaller than the number of tickets. I haven't kept an eye on what it is, but say its season ticket holders with 170 points or whatever, and there's 500 tickets. That first category will have fewer than 500 people in it. I fell into the first category a few times last season, and used to get the emails explain as much. Once they're opened to more, I'm sure they'll get sold.
I have more than 150 but less than 200 loyalty points and so I will be eligible to buy from 3pm today. I won’t be, but I’ll be honest and say I didn’t think it would get to my ‘on-sale’ window given the low number of tickets. It’s 200 points coming up at 12pm but I’m not sure there will be loads in that group as it was only 210 this morning. I’d be amazed if it got as far as the centenary members; I’m sure our season ticket holders will clear 450 tickets - and absolutely astounded if it gets to general sale. I assume Horsham have sold out for the home areas?
It’s one thing being a die hard fan,and another being able to get 2 days off work. Some of the fans will be in this situation.
