I'm actually tempted to get a shirt for the first time in ages at the "bargain" price of £35. How does the sizing run? I've got broad shoulders and a bit of an ale lover's paunch. Usually go for XL in high street t-shirts. I'm assuming that the replica shirts run quite small?
It's still Puma so I'd go a size higher. I was in a 3 xl and the 15/16 was loose fitting. The 17/18 was tighter fitting but it I tend to find v neck or round neck are. The 18/19 was very loose but wasn't long enough. A shame as it's one of my favourites. So I'd be inclined to get the 4xl for myself for length. However, I've lost a bit of weight since I've been single. I bought some 4 xl Ben Sherman polo shirts and they're baggy on me now.
I'm thinking of going into J&D to try on a Puma shirt in there, but it sounds like there's still a lot of variation. I'd only be an XL in a Ben Sherman t-shirt, unless it was a skinny fit.
XL fits chest 46-48. That’s what I have got and would say it’s ample if not a bit more stretched over the beer belly.
I'd go one size up. Last seasons large ones were a bit more generous than the season before but Puma shirts I find tend to be really small fitting. My lads just turned 10 and he's in the 11-12 tops
My lad is 12 but fits other Puma best as 15-16 (but club don’t do them even though Puma do other clubs). There were no S so I tried him on a M in club shop expecting it to fit like a nightie. Decent fit you defo consider a couple of sizes up
If anything like the kids sizes you'll need to go about five sizes up! Last season's age 13-14 is the same size as this season's adult medium!
George's 5-6 Barnsley Home shirt isn't as big as his Tottenham 4-5 shirt. Different makes but the shirts are on the small size this season.
Last shirt I got was pretty snug / slim fit stylee - that was a couple of seasons ago The Old shirts in medium are humongous compared to it
