Did you see the "can we silence the rams" tweet this morning that was deleted soon after?

Another one thrown back in their faces, I think someone needs to have a word with whoever runs our social media.

I agree with all of that until the very last bit. Collins isn’t good enough. He isn’t the biggest problem. But he is a problem.

I've said Unsure. I can't say I've been impressed with his team selection or playing style but on the other hand we are still 6th in the table. Sacking him now given the poorer quality of the squad compared to last season would be "doing a Birmingham" for me. If we go on a losing streak and dive down the table then I'd be more inclined towards sacking. BUT (a big BUT), who the hell do we get to replace him? There's no obvious candidate out there ready to step in.

I didn't see it but it doesn't surprise me, the media coming out of the club this season has been shambolic

    Colin.

He’s a **** but he’d have this team organised, with a style and gameplan, and playing for eachother within three games. It is that we are lacking.

With the quality we have, and the lack of quality in the division this year generally, that would be more than enough to win most games. I honestly believe that. We don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Basics being done properly would do for a start.

Playing slow predictable football. No high press and defenders who clearly struggle with a simple ball over the top. Yawn football sending me to sle zzzźz

Do we honestly think today was Collins fault every man Jack of them were terrible. The back three not winning headers static midfield forward line feeding on scraps..
Every time we come up against an ok side cos that's all they are we get beat. Not sure sacking the manager will make this lot any better.

We were 2-0 and getting overrun by the time Collins tried to change something other than fetching Watters off for Mcatee.

Hes slow to respond to the game, and even then its hard to figure out what his plan B is when plan A fails. The most capable managers are able to react to the game and shifts in play, ours doesn't look like he has that in his locker.

After that today there was always going to be some kneejerk reaction. It was poor though, defending in particular.

Voted no though as we’ve lost the goalie(s), the back 3 and essentially Luca from our solid team from last season. The defence have been replaced with players that have potential but possibly aren’t quite there yet. Combine that with our lack of solidity as a unit, that results in conceding goals I’m afraid. When Collins came into the club I thought that coming in as an ex defender, he’d make us solid as a unit but we really aren’t.

Unsure. Football is terrible and we don’t play to the strengths of our forward players. Without a random cole hot streak we would be lower mid table.

At the same time feels too early.

I voted no. Whilst I’m not over the moon with the football, we’re 6th in the league. With a new defence and two of our best players not playing/not reaching the standard of last season. Give the guy time. I get this reaction if we were 16th or something but not 6th.

No. I'd be looking very hard at it at Christmas though, if we find ourselves outside top 6. We look nowhere near top 2, and I still don't really know what Collins' plan is.

I see your point but where do start when the whole lot of them need hooking just think the players need to take responsibility and I hope he's told them in no uncertain terms.

I'd sack the inept faceless recruitment team first. Other similar sized clubs and smaller do better recruitment than us.

Totally agreed mate. I do not think Collins had any say in recent signings!

I agree with you footballs as bad as I've seen and even schopp and ashbagi would get some results with this squad in such a poor league

Coles has scored 11 next scorer is watters on 3 which is worrying. It does seem abit early though.

I think our recruitment is absolutely outstanding for the size of the club and budget. It was just unfortunate that we lost the entire defence all at once. De Gevigney, Lopata and Shepherd all look as though have excellent careers in front of them at Oakwell. We conceded two horrible goals today, but we've also kept a lot of clean sheets. My main issue is the slow, ponderous football. It's like watching paint dry. I think we should be doing far better with the squad we have, even taking into account the new defence and injuries to Roberts and Connell.
