So you think the players individually and collectively bear no responsibility.i get he picks the team but who would you have picked that he didn't and if you would have picked the same side they would have let you down too.

I voted No, but I'm not happy with him. He already seems to have favorites, which he picks regardless of prior performances. The quality of football is boring, even when we win.

With the current uncertain CEO position, plus we're 6th and it is too early for yet another manager change, I went with No (for now).

What would our league position look like without two players; Roberts and Cole?

Not for me. Too early. However, I'm not filled with huge optimism about us under Collins, the football isn't up to much, and I think we should be doing better with the squad we've got. Need to get some players back fit, especially Connell.

I have consistently said that it will be a season of win some, lose some, whether it's enough for top 6 we'll see. Nowhere near top 2, whoever the manager is.

You’re probably right. Other than his book signing tour he’s not getting anything now though. He might come and do the job for what we can pay if he wants a last job - which he’s suggested he does. I get the feeling he’d quite like to add us to his cv before he finishes as well.

We’ll never know if we don’t ask.

The problem is whether or not he would accept our wages, affording Colin doesn’t mean we can afford to sack Collins and Stead. It’d be quite a payoff required.

What is wrong with the club posting a positive message, BEFORE a ball has been kicked?

He’s clearly out of his depths wouldn’t push the button yet but we can’t perform against the better teams.

not saying they take no blame at all but Collins sets them up and decides who’s playing and where. The midfield is far too deep we have arguably the strongest central 3 in the division in Styles, Kane and when fit Connell but they are 20 yards too deep. That’s not on the players that’s the manager. We weren’t good against Horsham we were quite poor against Fleetwood too and how long did it take him to change it today.

Mate, you're coming across as being a bit of a nob to be honest. The amount of hard work that goes into becoming a professional footballer is absolutely insane. Imagine putting so much into something to achieve your dream, only for your body to keep breaking down on you at the age of 23. It must be absolutely heartbreaking for him.

It's a tough one for me because on the one hand we are in a good position in the league and picking up points, plus he's only been here two minutes and he's missing one key player through illness.

On the other hand he bores me to tears, both with his demeanor and his interviews and also with his style of play which seems to be passing the ball between our back three until the opposition falls asleep and we can hit a long ball which sometimes comes off. And on top of that we have frankly put in some absolutely awful performances both at home and away where somehow we've come away with the points anyway.

So I think my opinion is that no I wouldn't personally sack him yet, I'd give him until Christmas (while also looking for potential replacements now) but if he was to be sacked I don't think I'd care at all. I don't think we'd really be any worse with the vast majority of potential replacements.

But my main issue with Collins is that we are told we play the same tactics throughout the club, fast, hardworking, attacking football that we've seen in slightly different forms under stendel, Val and duff yet in Collins we have someone who couldn't be further from that. He sets us up to play the slowest football I've seen for a long time. That works sometimes and at some clubs and I'm not saying it doesn't here but it isn't what the club sold to the fans. The question is why? Did he lie at the interview stages and promise fast attacking football like we saw in his first game? Or was he honest and the club knew that he would play the ponderous, lethargic, dull, but arguably effective football that we've seen since he coached the port vale performance out of the squad? From what I've read about his previous club it would seem that the club knew how he played so why did we make the change to this style of manager?

Fleetwood was the only game I've come away from not bored out of my skull.

I agree the way he sets up is awful. No need, especially at home to play two central midfielders no more than 10 yards in front of the defence.

Passing it around the back line - Collins' instructions.

Midfielders first thought to pass it backwards - Collins' instructions.

No point keep sacking the coach but keeping the same immovable objects behind the scenes.. What will change.?

Not sure what Collins was watching, seems to think there was nothing in it until the 3rd goal

I get the mitigating circumstances but to counter that I would say the following. Collins is a former defender who has played at this level and I'm pretty sure he won the L1 title whilst at Sheff Utd. He should know what this league is all about, he should be able to get some basic organisation amongst this group but I just don't see it. The alarm bells for me are how open we've appeared against the so called poorer sides in this league and how many opportunities we've given away. Fortunately opposition teams haven't had the quality to take advantage. Against the better sides we're not winning and we can't seem to compete.
I do think Colins was dealt a bad hand with Max Watters, I said after his idiotic sending off last season against Port Vale that he should have been sent straight back to Cardiff. Whoever sanctioned his signing on a 3 year deal needs their head examining!

One final thing, style of play, why change a successful, direct, pressing style to a possession based style? That possession style may have worked in the USA but Collins needs to re think this very quickly or it could be his undoing.

For me failure to achieve the play offs should see him go but if we lose comprehensively at Horsham then I may have to re think that.

    Yes.

I'm all for giving people time but he can piss off after the last 4 games. 2 embarrassments at Oakwell, to go with the other 3 (Pompey, Posh, Blackpool) and rubbish away performances at Orient and Derby where no-one looked remotely interested. If you can't motivate a group of players that should be fighting for top 2 in this division, **** off. My nan would have inspired the players more against Horsham and today.

For me Styles looks like he can't be arsed I just keep thinking prove to me your as good as you think you are. Obviously no Kane today and quicker we get Luca back the better he was pivotal to us last season and not fetching someone in when they knew he would be missing for so long was a big mistake. The injury to Robert's is also a big factor he kept us in games Killip is just not as good. All in all I don't think Collins is any master coach but he's not had much luck injurys to big players Luca Robert's and to a lesser extent Lopata hasn't done him any favours
