    If he'd said one down then I'd have agreed. The defending for the second and third goals was farcical though and deserved to be punished. Really worrying if he can't see that.

    I think he has seen that TBF, “Then the second half, it was unacceptable. The two goals we conceded were really disappointing. The gaffer described it as we needed more passion in our play” That’s not excusing or defending him or the team in anyway. Didn’t go and only seen brief highlights but it sounds like that second half was very poor at best.

    As has been alluded to by others, much as I like Williams I think it is time to bring in another CB and move JW to wing-back.
    The only issue there is that we will lose his pace at the back but there needs to be a stronger presence - someone of the ilk of Mads or Booby Thomas if that’s possible.

    The statement he made "needed more passion" read.....aggression, application and mobility.
