I don't know how to put links on here but I've just been reading an interesting article regarding Barnsley FC comparing tactics transfers and Barnsleys chances of going up. Its on a site called TFA.Good read if anybones interested or could even put a link on here. It shows a much different perspective from an outsider to views on a message board.

I like to be positive Brian but the football I've seen so far this season and the fact that every half decent side we've come up against has ripped us a new one make that very hard. I'd be surprised if we made the top 10 this season.

It makes little to no mention of how easy we are to play against, get behind, score against. It suggests the changing numbers are improvements but doesn’t take into account the fact the team are unable to beat anyone that’s any good. If you read that having not watched us you’d be led to believe that Collins has improved the team, we are much better than last season, and that the signings are just as good as those they’ve replaced. If he really scouts for donny then I understand why they’re an average league two outfit.
