Failed last night I'm afraid, he's a very quick thinker which I guess all of them are, subtle but simple at times.
Saw Frankie Munroe (not real name) win the bbc new comedy 2023 award last night and he was very funny in a really weird way.
He’s getting a lot of attention at the minute, I’ve not seen him live either just the clips, so was wondering if he was like that all way through or if there was more to the act.
Comedy is massively subjective, everyone's humour is different. I saw Ross in Australia about 15 years ago and then in York a couple years after that and he was brilliant, he is very good at appearing to lose his train of thought and digress but then tie it all up by the end. Saying that, I dont find him as funny now and maybe he is ok in small doses like some others. Stewart Lee is someone I'd like to go see. Sean Locke wouldve been top of my list. I love Frankie Boyle and Billy Connolly in his prime. Love Noel Fielding and would love to see him live.
Fair dos. Each to their own innit. You like Mrs. Brown’s Boys, I like Stewart Lee. Horses for courses.
Surprised it took so many replies before someone responded. Cum singing, not even seen Lolly Badcock do that one.
I'm struggling to even imagine comedian cum singing. But if it's as funny as your post it'll be a good turn. Edit: Although I reckon the audience would need to be wearing one of them hats that Ronnie Moore had
