Shocking. People must still be buying them though... I mean I get milk, bread, essentials etc but id make it a point of principle not to buy anything 'luxurious' at ridiculous price points.
People must only buy them without realising the price surely? I wouldnt buy a thing in a place ripping the public off like that. Outrageous!
Sometimes nagging kids who MUST have a specific drink meads that many parents will give way just to keep them quiet. The wife may also make the reference of buying a pint for a fiver !!!
There should be a law to prevent this extortionate price happening, I have seen similar things like this before, if not just nick it. I was once walking through Doncaster Frenchgate centre when I saw a shop thief running away from the store detective and I could have easily dropped him, but let him pass . Then the guard gave me a earful for not helping so I told him he's not robbed me or another person so f.ck off. These shops make lots of money so why should I help, get more guards.
Tip. Buy from poundland or other cheaper outlets. When planning to go anywhere. I'd not be surprised if a bottle of that shown. Was more than 20p to produce.
It's usually these prices due to the sky high rentals the airports charge these on site shops. Even to drop someone off at Leeds/Bradford that may take 1 to 2 minutes costs £7.
But this was a petrol station close to the airport. No mention of onsite. I know prices are sky high inside the airport. But surely even there not that much.
I'm sure T2 parking at Manchester Airport has deliberately confusing signage so that one mistakenly goes through the drop off lane, thus incurring a £5 fee to exit.
They can. But not many sales if any. Only by an unaware customer. . If that price was correct. (Which I doubt) If I was super rich. And I was, till I got married and had kids and grandkids. I'm now down to my last million. I'd put it back on the shelf. Robbin barstewards. Edit 1m vietnamese dong btw. Afore begging letters arrive. Already had 1 PM.
I'm currently at Manchester Airport, waiting for a flight to Hamburg that's delayed by 90 minutes. To pass the time, I've done a mini survey of Fanta prices at Boots and WH Smith. Here are the results, Boots first, then WH Smith:-
Turpen-tine? Bur seriously, you're spot on. My flight's been delayed from 14:05 until 15:31, so I've plenty of time to carry out marketing surveys.
When I was travelling through Manchester regularly, I found the Spar just inside from arrivals at T1 to be actually reasonably priced. Although you can't take any drinks you buy there through security if you are flying out... Although Boots airside usually had the same offers as the high street for drinks, food and snacks.
