    It was our 2nd string which we know from past experience are bloody useless. Bradford fielded a strong side, we fielded a bunch of kids. Loads of these Premier League U-21 teams have been battered in this competition so I reckon there was a fair chance we would. I know it's disappointing but unexpected it wasn't.

    Got thrashed despite putting out a strongish side against a side in the bottom half of the league below.

    Collins is running out of time. Thankfully he's only on a two year contract, so paying up 18 months won't be as expensive as some of the mistakes we've made in recent years.

    This whole "it's a nothing game" is a concept I cannot comprehend. I don't care whether it's the FA Cup Final or a kick about down the local park, you play to win. Every. Single. Game.

    Anyone who can honestly say that they're not gutted about the result tonight, the abject performance, the lack of quality, the lack of inspiration from the sidelines etc after tonight.... I'm sorry, but you've got something wrong with you.

    I would die for BFC, and it hurts me every time I see a performance like that, irrespective of the competition the game is played in.

    Collins out. He's just not the right man.

    I have to say, happy clapper as some may see me, 5-1 to a lower division team is not acceptable. Clearly, from the team selection we weren't taking it seriously again. And clearly for the youngsters that were thrown in they would have sensed that and any supposed experience they would have gained would have been ruined by being on the wrong end of a drubbing.
    Time and again we field weak teams in Cup competitions, perform badly and end up with what can only be a negative effect on those that play.

    Bradford made 6 changes, a 5_1 battering is going to be outstanding for confidence isn't it, playing well or even OK and losing is acceptable but that was shocking, winning breeds confidence, but its all good cos that was a dead rubber
