A few players in that side tonight that a lot of posters in this thread continually rubbish our manager for not selecting.

"Why are you picking McCart ahead of Shepherd? You haven't a clue Collins."

"Marsh is miles better than Watters."

He looks miles ahead of Cosgrove and Marsh though.

I’m guilty in terms of Shepherd and McCart. Got to say Shepherd has been truly awful against Horsham and Bradford.
Don’t rate Watters but I’ve not been one clamouring for Marsh. Reckon he’ll struggle to make it. Far too lightweight.

I'd say 4 of the 5 names you mentioned are useless, jury still out on Marsh. Losing patience with Collins.

I like your passion and let's hope we play well on Saturday. I'd just love to see us push forward and play on the front foot.

Watched it on Ifollow. We were terrible.Luca Connell did quite well out of the first team on display but disappointed with the rest. Cosgrove looked slow and still unfit. Marshy was ok if not injured yet again and Cotter was decent. Mc Carthy and Shepherd were poor to be honest credit to the 600 BFC fans who travelled.

Warning signs have been there all season defensively. We've been spared more defeats by some outstanding goalkeeping but at the moment it's a shambles across the pitch. I was willing to give Collins the season (remit was a play off position) but we look anything but play off contenders at present.
If we lose the next 3 or 4 league games then he's got to be under massive pressure and the fans will turn on him big style.
A few questions that Collins needs to find some answers to and very quickly:

    1. Over recent seasons we've had some success playing a pressing, high tempo style football with a remit to develop this throughout the club. Why have you brought in a possession based game that goes against the club philosophy?
    2. Do you have an alternative system to a possession based game?
    3. Would you consider a change in formation as defensively we look all over the place?
    4. Why can't you seem to motivate the players?

I don't really care about this Cup/Trophy, as the club don't care either. And neither do the majority of other clubs and fans.
However, this sort of disgraceful performance and attitude can't be ignored, and they aren't even doing that well themselves in Lg Two.
Its over to you Neil now, and you've got some serious thinking to do after that tonight.

Wonder how many posts we'd have had tonight had we won?

This is the most anti-BFC site on the internet.

Never an opportunity missed to defend Max Watters. Are you tapping his sister or summat?

He’s the one player completely absolved of any blame tonight and that nobody would mention, yet you shoehorn him in.

By any measure Max Watters has not played well for us. The fact he’s better than Sam Cosgrove and Aiden Marsh doesn’t make him good enough or a good signing.

Watters has been poor for us this season. Very poor.

Is he better than Cosgrove and Marsh? Yes.

Is getting kicked in the balls better than getting your legs broken? Also yes. Still a bad outcome though.

Is that because most people, unlike you, think that we won't get automatically promoted from this league, that England and Max Watters aren't very good at the moment, and that Styles is not the worst player of ours by any means whatsoever?

Remember when you were trying not so long ago to eviscerate posters for saying that the Port Vale score didn't really count so much when it came to applying reality as to how good we were, because the score was what it was ?

Well....tonight was what it was too.

Do you want to go back and wonder what our goal difference would be if we hadn't beaten Port Vale 7-0?

    Nope.

I watched 90+ minutes of a team without discernible strategy tonight. On TV. 600 went in person.

If we'd performed well I would have posted it. So would others. It's called being honest with regard to what you've watched.

What kind of post do you expect after a crap display and a 5-1 defeat?
