I never advocate for people losing there jobs but this is too much of an error for anybody. It brings the proud name of our club into disrepute. I'm sorry but heads most roll for this.
I honestly thought the article would be the FA dropping the case around ownership. After the debacle at Bradford you think things can’t get much worse but this is a pretty spectacular mistake. Loss of a cup run, revenue and the prize money.
Just trying to work out if Marsh played for York City in the 4th qualifying round. Edit: Doesn't look like he did.
Yep. Surely there has to be a sacking coming fpr someone but without a fully functioning CEO who's job was it to sort
Add it to the long list of basic day job stuff being over looked, appalling way to run any business let alone a professional football club with a multi million pound turnover with a 5 figure customer base.
I find it hard to see how much more incompetent we can be as a club if you look at our track record this past few years. The ownership has definitely NOT fixed this.
I think it will be Aiden Marsh as he was on loan to York still for the first game: he needed to have been eligible for the first game to play the replay.
This is a disgrace for a professional club. Its the sort of thing that is rare even in lower level non league where admin is done by volunteers. The Brig or the Rec would be embarrassed to have this happen to them.
Get him sacked. How can this he allowed a professional football club? Who refunds the money back into the club we're losing here due to this error?
Gutted. I love the cup. What a **** way to go out. As for Horsham I bet they can’t believe their luck. They’ve gone from hating us for moving it to a Friday night & now they probably love us after getting a televised replay & now a 2nd round tie. What a shambles on our part. Pathetic.
