    FOR THE ******* LOVE OF FLYING ****!!

    Why would they deem us so stupid as to think anyone could intentionally make such a gross error that cost us a place in the FA Cup and tens if not hundreds of thousands, never mind a potential cup run!!

    Something is very wrong with the administration of the club I'm afraid.

    100% agree, why I added the bit about doesn’t actually mean it is her fault. It could be the process, it could be that someone didn’t give her the paperwork to complete etc

    The Club Secretary is probably paid a 'competitive' £20,000 a year.

    Fully on the CEO (or whoever is acting in the role).

    FA rules are anything but basic.

    The process should be double/triple checked so it doesn’t fall on anyone person.

    In a business, even the good people make mistakes. It’s times like that when you support each other.

    As a club it looks bad to the outside, but as a business you have to act within the law, and also with some compassion and understanding. If not, you’ll never attract or retain good staff.
