Its a different secretary role though. Hes company secretary and hes the person that ensures financial and companies filings are made to companies house etc. The club secretary deals with player registrations, player eligibility and all things FA related. Their is a club secretary role for the academy also who deal again with FA regulations etc.

Makes me feel for Colins really. I know he’s not pulled up any trees here and has his fair share of doubters but it must be terrible working conditions for him really under this lot. Does he really have a chance? If he’s got any doubts in his mind about the direction of the club and the leadership then it would be a good time for him to walk for the sake of his own career in my opinion.

Collins is way, way down the list of people who should be blamed for this.

A response to the ill-advised tweet the club posted after beating Port Vale prodding at the fans.

SiGn A sTrIkEr I think it was. Maybe sIgN a StRiKeR

    One of the two.

Yep it's no wonder managers can't wait to jump ship, any success they achieve is duly ripped apart, must be a hidden clause 3 steps forward 10 back you must always start from a position of scratch every season.

Explains why Sutton tickets weren't on sale. They knew what was coming....How embarrassing it continues to be to be a Barnsley fan. I dream of a new owner who knows what they are doing so the current lot can all be let go.

This stuff shouldn't be happening EVER!!! To say they want the fans onside they kept us in the dark until this surprise announcement.

Christ I'd forgotten about that. Sensational stuff from BFC, mocking our own fans.

I heard about this on Radio One on the drive home. It makes you wonder how no one knows the rules of the game they play. How did the Head Coach not realise that he didn’t have Marsh available the first time and therefore can’t play him this time? How did Marsh not go ‘hang on, I was at York last time we played them’? How did none of the other players say ‘hang on, Marsh was at York’? I’m not saying it was their fault, I just don’t understand how nobody realised. Especially when it happened at Donny previously.

Not the Gaffer’s job to deal or know all that.

Not all players are that switched on. They just do what they are informed of.
