Any reason why we've not rearranged the Carlisle game for then Or are we waiting for the two games a week next April.?
Strange one that a free weekend for both teams but for some unknown reason not arranged it for that date, and we've still got Bolton at home to rearrange.
I think there has to be so much notice to allow away fans to sort tickets etc - it's the only reason I can think of. But the fact that we knew we were kicked out on November 17th should have given us enough time.
They'd already attempted to arrange a gathering in a beer manufacturing operation but it fell through.
We haven't read the procedure to rearrange games yet.... That's if we have a procedure, as we usually wait for the EFL/FA/SYP to tell us when to play games....
Because they would then have three consecutive away league games in 11 days and in the run up to Christmas I think they would have rightly said no to that for their fans. I don't think the EFL would over-rule them. There's actually a fair chance we'll have no game on Saturday 6th January too if Oxford beat Grimsby in the FAC next week. Carlisle play Exeter on 6th Jan and as both are out of the FAC that will go ahead so we can't play the Cumbrians. We could play Bolton on 6th January but only if they lose to Harrogate in the FAC and their currently scheduled opponents Wigan beat York City.
How about bringing our away game v Carlisle forward instead of the night match it`s due to be played on ?
