Finally a shot of the incident leading up to the corner. 4.50 in. Absolute nonsense decision. The Lincoln player holds his head in his hands and starts walking back ready for a goal kick.
I thought it was pretty clear on the iFollow coverage as well Still not clear to me about their penalty - need to figure out how to run the clip in slow motion
Looks like a corner to me. But in slow mo I think Williams actually won the ball first for the penalty decision. I thought it was a stone wall penalty on Saturday.
On the live footage on the origibal ifollow, two of pur playwrs approach the ref complaining about the decision, and he puts his hands in front of his face as if to gesture that he couldnt see it properly/his view was obscured
As firm a header by their forward as he could manage, sailing over the bar. But look at Killip’s position though as the corner comes in. He saves the first effort with his feet behind the line and makes a feeble attempt on the second. Very poor by all involved there
I'm exactly the same - thought it was a pretty clear pen in the stadium but now I'm having doubts. Having said that I'd have been absolutely fuming if something like that didn't get given for us.
If he couldn’t see he has to give it to the defending team - unless it’s changed. That’s how I always understood it when I played. Doesn’t excuse the statuesque defending from the corner.
No way a penalty to me, 2 player's putting a foot in to win ball. But the attacker just feels like a roll on the floor. If it had been at other end it wouldn't have been a penalty
If you pause the video you can then use the full stop button/comma to move frame by frame backwards & forwards.
