Gavin Ward abandoned our away game at Plymouth, in the 58th minute, with the Reds leading 4-1 at the time.

From a fans perspective, this one out-did the Exeter City fiasco from last season.

My favourite thing about that game was that whilst the result didn't count, the yellow card given to (I think) Doyle did - triggering a suspension due to it being his 5th in the season.

    All we want is consistency!

EDIT - it was Doyle, not Colace

To be fair, the authorities are still consistent with that. The sunny game that was abandoned in injury time earlier this season was replayed in full, and the player from the opposite team who was sent off in the abandoned game, had to serve a suspension.

I remember when I was a kid Dennis Law scored all 6 as Man City were leading Luton 6-0 in the FA Cup 4th round before the game was abandoned. Luton won the replayed game 3-1 with Law scoring again. So he'd scored 7 goals and finished on the losing side. Luton lost at Oakwell in the next round with Jackie Lunn, I think, netting in a 1-0 victory for the reds.

I’m more concerned it was 14 years ago.

Was thinking more like 7-8 seasons ago!!
