Weak? A current Hungarian international, a player voted into League One Team Of The Season last season, and someone for whom we paid Liverpool in excess of £1 million.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see Connell starting again so soon, I'd expected 2 starts in a week to be too much at this point.

The midfield of kane and styles looked weak for last few games. Never turn up against the better teams but it'd Wycombe so we could get away with it.

I think Kane's been solid, but needs to look forward for his passes. Agreed on Styles though - largely anonymous. Clearly a decent laiker - Hungary not starting him for shits & giggles - just not doing it for us.

I think he just cba with us, he reckons he's an automatic starter for Hungary and he'll get a top move somewhere in Europe off the back of that after the tournament, stealing a wage currently.

I agree that we are entitled to expect more from Styles, who is clearly a talented player. We don't have any midfielder who is remotely as influential as Mowatt, who did a good job in all three areas of the pitch. I wish we could get him back.

Wasn't they losing other day and then scored 3 after he went off?

I'd be starting Jalo too, can't be any worse than any of Coles other strike partners. Atleast get him on for half an hour, not just 5 minutes.

Russell in for Kane for me. Now we have Connell back I’d like to see them work in tandem.

Agreed. All Kane seems to do is try fancy things that don’t come off or absolutely belt it at his fellow Reds.

Jalo needs to start. If we have any chance of holding onto him.

Watching him make half hearted challenges isn’t great for my blood pressure either.

Both him and styles have hearts of peas and won't win many if any challenges in midfield.

Kane is a very poor tackler and always looks like he might injure himself or others. Styles can tackle but seemed to do a lot more of it at full back.
