Collins waffled his answer about the ineligible player error. He didn't seem to know what to say without risking someone above having a go at him. Pointless answer, completely sidestepped the issue
Just tuned in to a question about sponsors and fanatics being American companies. And the club being American by proxy or something like that. Seriously let any old daft c word ask questions.
I thought he answered a question that shouldn’t be directed at him respectfully and avoided throwing the staff member responsible under the bus. He didn’t sidestep it, he answered it professionally.
The thing is he has a valid point or at least he could have. But he put it across so awfully bad that it just came across as a vendetta and just totally anti American. He could have asked are we focusing on the American market for revenue? If so why specifically there? But no he just said nobody likes the sponsor. Nobody dislikes the sponsor either do they? It's just a sponsor. It's not offensive or anything
It sounds like the knives are out after the last one. Collins should take some blame. If performances were up to scratch on the pitch I doubt there'd be so much angst in the questions.
That was a great point somebody just made about the idea of a Dof. He said we already have a coach/manager, why isn't he involved in player transfers. And it got a round of applause!.
Can't argue with that. The directors should have answered what processes we had previously and what has been changed. How was it missed, not who by. The manager can't really answer that to be fair
As long as its not some racist/homophobic/sexist/criminal company like Hex - then the sponsor can come from Birdwell or Brisbane. Barmy questions.
