Read it. It's all there. Like any other park and ride itll not have specific times. But usually when fullish. And pretty oft.
The park and ride scheme will operate each day from 11am until 4:30pm, whilst parking and walking will be available from the following times: Thursday 7 December: 11am - 6pm Friday 8 December/Saturday 9 December: 11am - 9.30pm Sunday 10 December: 11am - 5.30pm
That doesn't answer my question. I was asking how often and at what times the bus comes rather than just knowing the general hours that it's between if that makes sense.
I wouldnt rely on a timetable for park and ride as in my edited previous post. They don't run to schedule. Bit like park and ride anywhere else if you've never used one. Eg Lincoln Airports. Leeds
No I've never used one (I don't think). Any idea roughly how often they are or anything? In other words if I use it do I have to hang around for ages?
Not ages. but more in line with 1 in 1 out But they'll either go when full. Or as soon as the next turns up.
Cheers. Might give it a go. Mainly because Ive banged on for years that the club should do things like this so feel it's something I should support and give a chance to.
Forgot that one. Probably the one I've used most. Park up then Pop into McCarthur Glenn after returning. Usually do it just afore xmas. But not since afore covid. You've just made my mind up for somewhere to go next week instead of leeds, lincoln or J32. Treat the missus lol.
Folks should be aware that cars will not be allowed to exit the car park until 50 minutes after the last town centre shop has closed.
I don't think I worded it well. I meant how often is it likely to be or does it have set times for departures. Hooky fella explained that park and ride generally doesn't.
Ahh. I get you. Erm, I’m unsure on that. I just know there’s a few minibuses involved. I think it’s useful even without using the ‘ride’ element. Good to be working together with the council to better serve the town.
Definitely. Something we should be looking at permanently. park and ride for people who work in the town centre (i hear that town centre parking is extortionate for them who use it daily). Could even get a burger van involved and make extra cash
Ten minute walk to town - why hang around if it's cold or raining. Park the car at Oakwell and get a bus if there's one waiting, or walk
