Unless the "Big News "is that we have bought the ground back i didn't like the fact how many times we have only another 4 years lease was mentioned
I believe the Council became involved in ownership of the ground and surrounding areas for the purposes of preserving professional football for the town. So if there is not a sale back to the owners (as now constituted) then I imagine a further lease would be agreed for the short to medium term. This would be unlikely to be on prohibitive terms as that would frustrate the reasons for which the council became involved. (I assume that the Cryne's share the exact same aims in regard to the grounds).
I’d put money on a new lease over buying the club back personally. As for the repeated comments of 4 years Inthink that was stressed over and again to try to get people to understand why they are not spending money on the ground right now.
