Acceptance of our level

No I haven't seen it in a Barnsley shirt often enough and not at all this season but there must be something there because it's not like he's being selected for Gibraltar, San Marino etc. The only Barnsley coach to get something out of him was Val, Collins certainly hasn't.

 

A couple of early games he looked very decent. Not sure what is going on with him, but he does not seem to be that interested. Maybe he'll turn up today? As it is we'd be lucky to get £500k for him & a sell on. I'd take that at the moment TBH.

 

Its hard to have to accept, but we are only a Lg One team these days. Admittedly, we are one of the better ones and promotion has to be the target each season, or the Play offs at least.
It would help if this lot ran us more as a football club more often. Instead of it being just a business for them and always trying to make financial gain, at the expense of trying to build a successful team.
