Gonna make a start at watching some. Any recommendations? We've seen all the classics (it's a wonderful life, Christmas Carol in all it's forms, home alone, Die Hard etc), so anything slightly out of the ordinary, and preferably available on one of the main streaming services. Throw them at me!
The World Is Not Enough. Not really a Xmas film, but does include a character called Christmas Jones.
Not a Xmas movie fan but i'd recommend Miracle on 34th st, a bit dated but its a cracker, oh yea and all the Scrooge movies.
If you’re counting Die Hard, you can count Jaws IV: The Revenge. You’ll probably need several drinks to get through it.
Deck the Halls. It is staggeringly bad. Starring Danny Devito and Matthew Broderick, and it is so relentlessly awful you wonder to whom they must owe money in order for them to have agreed to do it. The premise is absurdly contrived and from start to finish there is not one likeable character. An absolute dog egg of a film, but somehow we end up watching it every year. Noelle. Anna Kendrick carries it but it's not bad. Arthur Christmas - this should be a lot more popular than it is. Aardman animated film.
