Die hard is not a Christmas film, its a film that is set at Christmas time. There is a difference lol.
Christmas vacation is still a good one, with great opening song titles. :)

There are two types of people in this world. There's the ones who think Die Hard is a Christmas film, and then there's the people who are wrong :)

You could say then that Die hard 2 is a film about airports and aeroplanes. ;)

Trading Places is, along with Die Hard, another non-Christmas film that is actually a Christmas film.

I enjoyed watching Get Santa last year, as the family friendly obligatory Christmas film. Jim Broadbent among the cast in the Santa role.

My absolute must watch, although I've had to buy it on DVD as nowhere seems to ever show it, is the Flint Street Nativity. A work of comedy genius.

The weirdest Christmas not Christmas film as to be getaway with Selena Gomez. I remember putting it on 5 minutes after it started and watching the entire film thinking it was just a normal (bad) movie until the end credits came on a started playing Christmas music. I don't know what happened in the first 5 minutes but in the rest of the film there wasn't a single thing to suggest that it was a Christmas movie

My Christmas list which I watch every year are home alone, Santa Claus the movie, miracle on 34th street and trapped in paradise.

I feel that Santa Claus the movie is vastly underrated. It's got an absolutely magical soundtrack and the beginning set in olden times is beautiful. I'd love to see an entire movie like that.

Tell me this doesn't conjure up images of elves busily making toys in their magical workshop

The BEST Santa Clause film there is with a brilliant soundtrack. Went to Cineworld last night with the wife, my youngest son and our eldest daughter and granddaughter to watch the 4k restored version.

Was only a fiver a ticket and expected it to be full but was less than 50% capacity. But brought back so many memories, David Huddleston is the greatest movie Santa ever for me
