Personally I was hoping for an Alfie Hewitt win, but expected Broad to win it. My own top 2 was Hewitt and KJT, I couldn't choose a 3rd place. But fair play to Earps, it's voted for by sports fans, so she is the chosen winner.

In terms of sporting wins it’s very difficult to see past Hewitt, unfortunately for him wheelchair tennis gets very little publicity.
This, this & this! And whilst I get Fired's sentiments, I reckon it will only fuel Barton and his ilk. But as mentioned above, she's a very well known figure nowadays and has been spoken about in the media consistently over past 12/18 months - it's always been somewhat of a popularity contest. It's a shame we didn't win the world cup because I reckon it would have been fairly cut & dry then. Not really sure what those on twitter who are berating the BBC are on about, it's a public vote
