    Seems harsh to me.

    Apparently the owner expects a top 10 finish this season.

    I’d love an explanation as to why he thinks they should finish above one of City, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Newcastle, Villa, West Ham & Brighton.

    They’re way off been a top 10 side regardless of who the manager is.

    Had to go. Been backed more than any manager in recent history after promotion to the top flight, and not made the most of it.

    I think they've spent around 250 million on transfers these past couple of windows, and their wage structure is mental. Especially when they had the likes of Lingard on 110k a week plus bonuses. Forest have had a lot of managers, I can see them becoming more like Watford and swapping & changing every 5 minutes from now

    How so? Enjoyed the parachute payments at Swansea but couldn’t get them promoted. Then ran for the hills the minute they suggested they might have to cut their cloth.

    As for Forest. Me or you could get them to 17th in the Prem with that budget. They should be doing much, much better.

    Not one for sacking managers but he’s been there long enough and it feels like they won’t reach their potential under him.

    I understand the sacking him at this point , bring in someone before the transfer window but Nuno Santo as replacement if true seems bizarre , bit past it

    I was a little surprised theyve got rid. Last year he did the right thing and gave him a new contract whilst they were really struggling and they stayed up. Difference is now I think their fan base is split by some margin. I think I know 5 people who support forest, 3 want him gone, 2 want him to stay.

    Agree with you about Nuno though. I suppose he'll keep them up playing terrible football perhaps, but I really don't see how they'd attempt to crack top 10 with him

    I think Cooper would keep them up and is popular with the players by all accounts , but only sack him if you’ve got a top coach coming in , Santos just been sacked by the 5th best team in Saudi hardly an endorsement to return to Premiership.Maybe the owner thinks he’s getting Santa
