Christmas greetings from Saint Anton am Arlberg to my fellow Tykes. Notwithstanding my disappointment at missing the Stevenage home match, Georgio and I are having the most tremendous time in Austria and will catch the game after an action packed morning of bobsleigh, alpine skiing and luge. Our plan is to move on to a fantastic bistro we have found, enjoy some Tafelsplitz and Wiener Schnitzel, and then a quick game of rinkball with a lovely couple we have met from Shropshire then tune onto the game at the ranch, where they serve the most tremendous Glühwein and Schnapps. Georgio will be donning his new replica 1994 Barnsley shirt that I bought him for Christmas. It’s a size too small but looks perfect. Simply wonderful. The weather forecast doesn’t look so good in Barnsley so wrap up warm boys and girls! Have a very merry and peaceful Christmas George and Georgio Spicer
and there's me looking forward to travelling along the Goldthorpe bypass for the first time in ages today. Different perspectives, eh.
hey George, do you ever hear owt from our old pal Adam? I thought he might have turned up on Dragons Den at some point, but I guess he’s probably a successful inventor/ entreprenur in his own right these days!
