I think we brought cotter and o keffe in as replacements for Williams and cadden who I doubt will be here next season and could be sold in Jan. Jalo isn't ready for the clubs he is been linked to but he came off the bench the other week and had a big impact on the game. To be fair to him he probably should have played more this season but his time will come.
Differing opinions eh. the thread just after you says squad too big need to trim. so that would mean nobody in to replace any of the players leaving. A recent poster said we just need a mature centre half with championship experience. Don't see that happening any time soon. sadly if those players go and don't buy at least the same level we're not gonna advance as a club..
Why do we need championship experience were not playing in the Championship. We do need a center half I agree but one who can do a job at league one level. People used to make me laugh with cole saying ye he can score at league one but he's not good enough for the championship. Were in league one.
Problem was we sold kitch too late in the window. We only accepted because the money was so good, a few days left of the window clubs would have had our pants down.
Centre half would be my first choice for recruitment in January but we need to stop looking at resale value and realise we need experience to help the younger players to mature, I remember Anderson coming on leaps and bounds when Solbaur came in. even if that is a loan like Thomas.
