What's the Oakwell carvery like, anyone been? It says you can have 1 or 2 courses too, but in typical Oakwell fashion, they don't make it easy to find out what the other course is before you pay? Is it a starter? A dessert? Not sure I want to buy 2 courses when I don't even know the options.

Been a couple of times now. The quality is actually really good and they don’t half pile it on your plate. 2 courses are main and desert. It’s very good and I would recommend. The only gripe I have with it is that you can feel a bit crammed in sometimes if you get unlucky with the table you’re given.

Thought it was nice. Would go again. Given how popular it seems to be I’d say that’s the consensus.
