This is the kind of mentality that the board love, this game wasn’t a ‘free-hit’ at all… it’s a game against a rival for promotion. Deary me, what kind of attitude is that?!
Fine game. Take that performance. Could have been 3, but could have been 0. I am sorry that all our BBS superb footballers, with such deep knowledge and high level experience of the game are no longer on our books. First time I've listened to Matt for a while..............What Game does he watch? Benefit of the doubt, he's a huge fan, ain't no happy clapper tho'.
Give it a rest. Maybe we won't go up this season but we actually played well against a team above us in the league, away (which was a criticism of the manager) and you're still whinging.
Spot on aim is promotion chucking 2-0 leads away doesn't get you that. Should be beating Man Utd from 2-0 up nevermind Peterborough. Crap result.
Great point and a great Div one game with a bit more composure especially from Styles we could have won that.
Tbf to Collins, he can only player the defenders he has. They just aren't good enough IMO. I guess you could argue it's Collin's job to get them better drilled, but I just think they're fundamentally too slow and nowhere near commanding enough. There doesn't seem to be any physicality in that back 3 whatsoever.
Kane has frustrated me at times this season. But credit where it is due, he was good today, and has been for a few weeks. Well in lad. When does the transfer window open again?
Would’ve jumped at a point pre game but that’s two points lost for me. We were comfortably the best side but conceded two from hopeful balls into our box. Get that back line sorted in January!!
I have only really enjoyed 2 matches this season so far, the away draw at Lincoln and this. We are effective when we press and we haven't done enough of that to date.
Can't disagree. I was a bit perplexed him coming on when I thought McAtee was having a decent game. I'd have at least gone with Cosgrove if we had to bring him off. I honestly don't see what Max brings. And I was surprised we signed him permanently tbh
I wouldn't say this was a free hit of a game though. Because although I would have taken a point beforehand, remember its a fixture we've often won over the years. The Derby win at Oxford was huge as well, which didn't exactly help us.
Disappointed to throw away a victory but that's all on the players really not the manager. I'd much rather us attack a team and entertain the fans on the way to getting one point than bore the pants off the fans and get the same point so no complaints there from me. Can we try to find a northern premier league side who will take Watters on loan next week please? Worksop town maybe? If they aren't interested I'm sure someone in division one east will take a chance on him. I reckon he'd get a few minutes for Sheffield FC.
Ffs lay off Williams…..hasnt the penny dropped yet!!!!…he’s playing out of position, we so poor at centre half that we’ve played another full back at centre half tneet n left a centre half on bench cos hes not good enuff either!….can only assume defending isnt your strong point as well!
