Especially from Styles? Not especially from O’Keeffe, who had a free shot inside the box and couldn’t hit the target? Or Williams, who sliced a clearance off the line into his own net?
Poor not to hold on but their record at home is ridiculous and I'd have taken a point at 19.45, was important that they didn't win and we ensured that didn't happen.
Ah, so if he was playing right wing back he wouldn’t have sliced the ball into his own net, slipped in the box or dallied on the ball and lost it. These aren’t three things that you need to be a centre half to avoid doing.
The point is since we got our apple, orange and stick of coyle at Christmas, maybe a knob of butter too we should be thankful we aren't Leeds they lost.
We were far from poor 2nd half and could easily have nicked it , you aren’t going to dominate Peterborough on there home patch for 90 minutes.
The context was in my first reply. To explain…. I think if we had the same defenders from last season then we probably would’ve won. And as much as giving up a two goal lead is annoying this is a mitigating factor. Rather than just having a whinge at the manager who actually did the best he could with the tools at his disposal.
I agree to an extent. I think if we'd have bothered to mark that fat sack of sheit Clarke-Harris, who they've transfer listed, we'd have won. But we obviously had some sort of agreement before hand not to.
Yeah I’m cold and on my way home. I was gutted when we let them back in and was very frustrating but it is what it is.
All about opinions, I on the other hand think MDG isn't good enough for this league, he's trying hard but i think we could do better. Maybe if we got a good established CH in, he could learn and develop.
Very few teams have tried to build as patiently from the back as Peterborough did today though. They invited the press on, in an attempt to create space in midfield. It didn't work for the most part.
